And We Bought Them Freedom!

Monthly Iraqi Civilian Deaths vs. Coalition Military Deaths

Thanks to Cheeks for bringing this graph to my attention.

Even though I am constantly aware of the imbalance in the death and destruction caused by US/UK axis forces in Iraq; the raw graphical data takes my breath away with it's impartial, calm violence.

So what are we going to do about it?

  1. Talk about it, protest, write letters, etc... To be honest, I don't really know anymore. Convince people who have been there to talk to schools about what it's really like? What do you suggest?

  2. You compare the U.S./UK to the Axis Powers. I doth protest.

Well, hopefully the way out of Iraq is not through Iran.

  3. I think they're going to try to get out that way, though. Bush already seems to be making the case for Iran, and few people are reminding the American people that the case for Iraq was A LIE.
